The British Virgin Islands Offers More Floating Rooms Than Any Other Caribbean Destinations

The British Virgin Islands, home to the Sailing Capital of the World, is calling all visitors to check-in to the Sir Francis Drake Channel’s watery neighborhood, resident to more floating rooms than any other Caribbean destination. Regardless of whether visitors have seasoned sea legs or are used to dry footing, roaming rooms offer the opportunity to experience endless scenic memories with a glimpse at the sailor’s life.
Through a selection of catamarans, mono-hull sailing yachts and motor yachts, guest are invited to seize the more than 60 islands, cays and islets of anchorage and take sanctuary in the luxurious 360° horizon views of the BVI with the wind at their service.
Self-sufficient drifters choose to indulge in the freedom of their own course, schedule and length of stay. Those wishing to leave all the responsibilities to a veteran captain and crew select a luxurious crewed charter option.
The 60 islands, cays and islets, navigable by sight, make any island hop itinerary as simple as “point and paddle.” Taxis are left to landlubbers, as hungry sailors easily cast out for the main dish and enjoy the fresh catch of the day right on board.
The “ocean front” rooms immerse sailors in a sea of animation that those on land can only imagine from their “ocean-front” balconies. “Man over-board” is half the fun as guests replace flip-flops with fins and dive off the deck of their floating room, right into a national marine park or one of the countless celebrated dive spots.
