Divi Resorts Offers Underwater Photography Courses on Bonaire
Learn something new while on vacation in Bonaire and have the pictures to prove it! Divi Flamingo Beach Resort’s onsite camera shop, Capture Photo, teaches guests underwater photography, helping beginners get their feet wet and experienced shutterbugs perfect their shots. Classes are open to children and adults, snorkelers and divers.
Capture Photo specializes in both personalized and group underwater photography courses. Beginner classes focus on basic skills and camera equipment while advanced lessons highlight complex photography techniques including computer enhancement. All classes include post-dive photo analysis and a CD of images taken.
Capture Photo works in collaboration with Divi Dive Bonaire, the resort’s acclaimed PADI five-star dive operation. One great activity option is “Photo Boat,” a comprehensive six-hour underwater photography course that includes a two-tank dive accompanied by a Divi Dive Bonaire Dive Master as well as a Capture Photo photography pro. This group tour includes a pre-dive photo orientation on the selected dive site and photo subjects; on-board photo evaluation and technical advice; and a post-dive photo review. Divi guests can also “star” in their own underwater adventure with a private videotaping, a unique opportunity to capture and share a dazzling underwater experience!
