Journalists & Guest Writers Needed

Owners Perspective Magazine is an independent consumer publication for the timeshare, fractional and shared ownership industry. We require experienced travel writers for general travel, fashion, food and lifestyle articles, as well as those who are experienced in resort reviews, and are knowledgable of the vacation ownership industry.

Then subscribe to Owners Perspective to enter the Members Area where you will get an idea of the content we are currently publishing as additional content - so the same or better is required for the magazine itself.

Journalists & Experienced Travel Writers
In brief, here is what we offer freelance experienced journalists / travel writers:

• 1. Pre-written articles - £50 to £100 ($100 to $200) for any standard travel related article you have written or are currently writing based on length, quality, accompanying images etc. (Please Note: We generally do not accept journal or blog entry style articles for the magazine, although they may be accepted for online use - see Online Editorials below)



• 2. If the quality of your work makes you a regular contributor you may then be asked to take on assignment work, such as interviews we set up, resort reviews, convention reviews etc. This can pay very well (up to £1,000 / $2,000) depending on location and requirements as well as all travel and accommodation expenses. The closest qualified writer to the location of the assignment will usually be asked first.



• 3. Celebrity Interviews and high end original / exclusive material pay higher and are quoted separately each time.



• 4. Reserved for select and full time journalists, there is also a 10% referral commission to be earned on new advertisers introduced to the publication(s. These would often be the resorts you plan to review etc. Ask for more details.

All fees cover use in one or both of our magazines and are paid upon publication.

Online Editorials
We know there will be many editorials we receive that although very good, just don't quite make the grade, or suit the magazine itself - but these then may be considered for our online editorials which are added throughout the month between magazine editions. For these we pay £15 to £50.

Guest Writers
We are also always interested in hearing from people who would like to contribute complimentary articles that they feel would be of interest to our readers.

We will consider copy from credible industry professionals about topics related to their expertise, resort developers and suppliers, guests who wish to share their travel experiences, and travel articles from new and experienced travel writers looking to build their portfolio of published work.
