Berry Springs Lodge Goes “Back to Nature” in the Great Smoky Mountains Again in 2009

This Spring, Berry Springs Lodge is encouraging guests to choose their favorite way to save our environment. Guests are asked to bring any item, of their choice, that relates to nature when they visit Berry Springs Lodge. It could be a flower to plant, a small tree, or a bush. It can also be as simple a rock for their Zen garden or a leaf for the Berry Springs Lodge scrapbook. Creativity is the key. Berry Springs Lodge recognizes that even the smallest effort has an enormous impact on our environment.
In addition, Berry Springs Lodge is dedicating 2009 to the promotion of event, activities, and tours that allow their guests to see The Great Smoky Mountains as never before. Berry Springs Lodge has compiled an extensive list of activities that range from the banal “hike in the Park” to the most exciting of adventures. Just pick your favorite activities and Berry Springs Lodge will make all the arrangements.
As an incentive to encourage all our guests to participate in this “Back to Nature” promotion, Berry Springs Lodge will offer discounts to all who bring an item that relates to nature. Starting March 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009, participating guests will receive discounts of $40.00 per night for weekday stays and $20.00 nightly on weekends.

in The Great Smoky Mountains is continuing their promotion of the ” Back to Nature – Growth Renewal Process” that began the “Berry Springs Guest Tree Garden” in 2005. Berry Springs Lodge gave away over 800 tree kits, in an effort to add more trees to the world, particularly in the Great Smoky Mountains. The success of this promotion has inspired Berry Springs Lodge to expand their efforts in 2009.
