EUROPE Pucker up for the Fête du Citron, which is the 76th Annual Lemon Festival in the French city of Menton February 12 through March 4. Festivities range from the golden parade of fruit-filled floats to the citrus decorations in the Biovès gardens. The Moonlit Parade, which complements the daytime offerings, ends with fireworks and is essentially a lemon-infused party. The folks in Menton love their lemons, which they say are brighter yellow, shapelier, and richer in essence and taste.
